Processing of personal data
Aker Care collects personal information from you through the registration of contact data in some of our forms on our website or through a third party service.
Protecting your privacy is important to us. We will only use your name and other personal information in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act. We collect this information only in cases where it is relevant for us in your contact with Aker Care. Processing of such personal data is subject to the Norwegian privacy laws, which aim to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability and quality of your information.
Information such as phone number or email is used to contact those of you who have registered an appointment or expressed interest in setting up a consultation with an Aker Care health professional. When making an appointment online, we ask you to provide your social security number. You can safely enter this and other sensitive information in the order form. Data is transmitted encrypted with SSL and stored via Helserespons® by WTW AS in accordance with a signed data processing agreement. WTW has automatized routines for deleting incoming data when no longer relevant for the service.
We will process your personal data securely and will apply and maintain appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, in particular where the processing involves the transmission of data over a network, and against all other unlawful forms of processing.
At any time, you have the right to gain access to the personal information we have stored about you and you can ask to have this information rectified or deleted. To inquire about this information or privacy related matters please contact customer support at WTW kundeservice@wtw.no.
