Time to refresh your CPR skills – sign up for course!

In this year’s first campaign, Aker Care will focus on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). It is important to practice CPR regularly, and now you can get both theory and practice of the four important steps that can help save lives.

Sudden and unexpected cardiac arrest that occurs outside hospitals affects over 3,000 people in Norway every year. Approximately two out of three cases occur in one’s own home*. During the first crucial minutes, there are usually no health personnel present, and it may be up to you to take care of the seriously ill person. The chance of surviving a cardiac arrest is 2-3 times higher if CPR is started before the ambulance arrives.
